Feeling the wind rush around you is exhilarating. I tried to capture that feeling in this piece.
Hand embroidered using DMC cotton embroidery thread and needle felted using merino wool roving. This piece has been lovingly hand stitched from the first stitch to the last in my home studio in New Haven, CT.
This piece measures seven inches in diameter and comes framed in a solid beechwood embroidery hoop with a brass closure. This piece has been backed with wool felt to preserve the stitching.
