Vintage Denim - Hand Embroidered Art

This piece was inspired by my job as a seamstress at a vintage shop in Toronto called Penny Arcade. Penny Arcade is where I sourced all of my vintage denim for all of my pieces on denim. I love re-using this fabric which would have otherwise ended up as waste. Vintage denim is soft and faded and every piece is unique.

This piece is hand embroidered using DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss on vintage denim. This piece measures eight inches in diameter and comes framed in a bamboo embroidery hoop and backed with wool felt. This piece is ready to hang!

This piece has been lovingly hand embroidered and is one of a kind. Each of my vintage denim embroideries are embroidered on pre-worn vintage jeans and could have stains/holes/etc, these irregularities are what make these pieces so special.
